WHY IS THE CHALET ALWAYS FUNDRAISING?
The Chalet Malouin is over 50 years old and as with everything else after 50 years, many things need to be upgraded and/or replaced & repaired. The current projects for 2024 include (but are not limited to) the following:
- New Wheelchair accessible washroom in our main dining hall / activity area where currently there is none.
- Finalization of 6 remaining automatic doors, including a new air curtain for our front entrance to reduce the cold north wind.
- Update of existing (and new additional) Security Cameras and Door Security System
- Replacing old plumbing throughout our facility
- Skylight Window replacement
